State Theatre tickets & upcoming events

If you’ve ever wandered through Easton and stumbled upon a building that just oozes history and charm, it’s probably the State Theatre. This place is a real treasure, celebrating over 90 years of entertainment since opening back in december 1926. Originally a vaudeville and movies spot, it’s like stepping into a time capsule but with all the modern bells and whistles. The interior still whispers stories of bygone days, but it’s got all the comfy seats and sound systems you’d expect today. I mean, they still do homage shows for legendary bands and regional artists that keep the local arts scene buzzing. And honestly, the balcony snacks are a genius move, less line, more time to enjoy that popcorn or a cold drink. Plus, the area around the theatre is perfect for a leisurely stroll, especially if you’re coming from the medical center, just a few minutes walk. Whether you’re into catching a concert, comedy, or a special event, this theatre hits all the right notes. Trust me, once you’re inside, you’ll feel the history but also get that modern vibe that makes every night special.
